There are many creative options available to help you pay for home care services.

Private Pay

Your loved one may have savings or supplementary income available that can help pay for home care, assisted living, or nursing home care. Often, family members may contribute to the cost of care for their loved one.

Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance

Your loved one may have purchased a LTC policy to help offset the cost of home care or assisted living care. We can help you evaluate the policy to see if it covers Senior Helpers’ services.

Medicaid Regular &State Plans

Medicaid, an insurance program for low income persons, pays for non-medical home care, home health care, and other in-home supports to help individuals remain living in their homes.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage plans are able to offer supplemental health care benefits to their participants including adult day care, non-medical and medical transportation, and home modifications to aid aging at home.

Whole Life Insurance Policy

Whole life policies are designed to build cash value and as cash value builds up, it is often possible to borrow against the policy while keeping insurance in effect. Contact your insurance agent to discuss your needs and possible options.

State and Local Programs

In many states, there are local and state funded programs that offer limited care for seniors who meet certain criteria. Contact us so that we may review the programs available to you in our area.

Veteran's Aid & Pension Benefit

Eligible veterans and surviving spouses may be eligible for up to $2,020 per month for health care expenditures. We can help you evaluate this option to see if your loved ones may qualify, and if so, apply for this little-known benefit.

Reverse Mortgage

Reverse mortgages can be very useful for home owners aged 62 and older whose home is their principal residence and who have a high amount of equity in the home. Evaluate this option with a reputable Reverse Mortgage Specialist.
